Hello!I'm here again to share some words on what I want to imply about Racism. As you can see I made some quotations here below. 

" The color of our skin would             never be a sin "

"we're so different yet were so the same"

The quotes above are just some quotations I made for making a change by making blogs and promoting fairness and equality. I'd like to give emphasis on the second quote first. "we're so different yet were so the same"

what exactly do i mean with this? I want to make it straight to the point ..it simply means that no matter how different we are in our appearance, culture, dialect, country, religion and all other aspects in life.. We are still made by one King, one Creator and one GOD.  I mean, we are all humans..same structure origin and everything we are created specially and uniquely! we should treat each other like our own brothers and sisters because we are all brothers and sisters in God. As my advice i'd like to share with you another quote "Let's love each other and be happy together" :)

This quote depicts just how absurd it is to judge people by the color they're wearing. Well its not our fault to be whatever color we are right now. It's just mean and illogical for someone to think how a color is better than the other. We should not consider ourselves worthless or good for nothing if others keep on boasting how better they are --just keep in mind that we can achieve anything we want because if others can do it, why can't I? Just believe in yourself, Don't let discrimination stop you from being what you can be. A lot of people already proved that . Just like the blacks who are the ones most racially discriminated before proved how they can keep pace and outstand with everyone in the field of entertainment, sports, modelling and a lot more. Remember that God made us differently for us to stand out but to come together as brothers and sisters. 

THERE'S NO ROOM FOR RACISM IN THIS WORLD

 Cheer up , smile and live life. That's all. I hope you realized something from this simple blog. : D

My thoughts on the "Telephone conversation by Wole Soyinka"

The Telephone Conversation

The price seemed reasonable, location
Indifferent. The landlady swore she lived
Off premises. Nothing remained
But self- confession “Madam, I warned,
“I hate a wasted journey- I am African.”
Silence. Silenced transmission of
Pressurised good – breeding. Voice, when it came

“HOW DARK?...... I had not misheard……
“ARE YOU LIGHT OR VERY DARK?” Button B, Button A, stench
Of rancid breath of public hide-and –speak
Red booth. Red pillar box. Red double-tiered
Omnibus squelching tar. It was real. Shamed
By ill-mannered silence, surrender
Pushed dumbfounded to beg simplification.
Considerate she was, varying the emphasis-
“ARE YOU DARK? OR VERY LIGHT?" Revelation came
“You mean –like plain or milk chocolate?”
Her assent was clinical, crushing in its light
Impersonality, Rapidly, wave length adjusted,
I chose “West African sepia”- and as afterthought,
“Down in my passport.” Silence for spectroscopic
Flight of fancy, till truthfulness clanged her accent
Hard on the mouthpiece. “WHAT IS THAT?” conceding
“DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT IS” “Like brunette.”
THAT’S DARK, ISN’T IT?” Not altogether,
Facially, I am a brunette, but Madam you should see
The rest of me. Palm of my hand, soles of my feet
Are a peroxide blonde. Friction caused
Foolishly, Madam – by sitting down, has turned
My bottom raven black- One moment – sensing

Wole Soyinka's works are always very unique, sophisticated and interesting.

It even took me days to understand fully what it's trying to say, but yeah I had fun reading and understanding it. hoho.

Now what is the story trying to tell us? The story is trying to depict racism which was a great widespread issue before especially in the U.S.A.?

It is about a conversation with a black guy and a prejudice white lady.

Why did I described this White lady as prejudice? Well the way she talked with the black guy was a bit rude for me..even if she asked politely it's still insulting for the black guy to be asked like that. Why would she even care about the fact that the guy mentioned he's Black?  that means the lady wants to further know if the guy was really that black, if he is ,the lady would just hang up---and she actually did. My racism sensors are tingling.. Well, Racism was out of hand during that time that's why there was a prejudice apprehension that the blacks are wild,violent and slaves etc. To make it short, the purpose of this story is to show how senseless the idea of Racism is. 

I remember a story told to me by my uncle. It goes like this..When he was in Dubai he went to a high end boutique where there were 3-4 customers..and all the staff from the shop looked at him from head to toe and just ignored him. Another customer of caucasian origin entered the shop and was immediately approached and attended by the staff. Stupid huh?
The idea of judging people depending on the color of his skin makes me sick. It's just ridiculous to be judged by narrow minded people. 

My advise to people discriminated, judged or humiliated by narrow minded people to stand up for themselves, If you think it's too much..Use your wits! Use sarcasm but always remember to be polite, you'll surely leave them dumbfounded in awe! ;D (an original dauntless tip by me) If not, you could just ignore them knowing you have  better understanding, principles and perspective in life. Be proud and stay your positive outlook in life!

Black or white?! Black && White!

Hello hello! This is Sarah Ebba! 

I'm here again to share what i think or my perceptions about 
BLACK & WHITE. 

So what's with Black and white ?

What comes into your mind whenever you see or hear "black & white" ? Patterns? clothes? racism?  For me it's a cute combination of colors~ (the first thing that comes out my mind.) Even my closet is filled with blacks and whites paired up together. Black and white paired can make up a really good combo because of it's difference. They are like the opposite of each other yet they come out nice. The new cornetto ice cream flavor called "black & white" is now one of my favorite cornetto ice cream flavors because of its uniqueness. The two flavors blended really good together. ^^  

Anyway,going back to the topic. Im here to ponder and talk about the colors Black and White. How do you describe those two colors? Which is better? Most people describe black as the negative one compared to white. Simply because black symbolizes darkness,remorse,power and such while white is a color that is serene and heavenly cause it is the color of the heavens and the angels. It also symbolizes purity and cleanliness. I see Black as a good partner for White. For me, the two colors together shows balance and uniqueness. 

Balance is what we get when put the two together. Either way both colors are interesting.

In terms of Human Relations, what comes to our minds when hearing these colors? Racism right? Should we really classify people by their physical attributes..... That's a big NO-NO for me. Color should not divide and group people because people are meant to be different and unique in different ways. No racism, just love. (Yaay for ending racism and spreading love. )

 Racism will die if we would live simply by just not thinking about it. Right? Relating to the ice cream I mentioned earlier It would be better if people were together enjoying life, appreciating each others company . It's nice to see people treating each other equally without discrimination. It's good not to compare people's ability to yours. 

In my honest opinion, it is wrong to hate on other people who are different from most of you. People are people, We are made the same . In fact, we are all created in God's image and likeness. Why hate on each other? People despite their differences should be treated equally.  No race should ever rule or act mighty. But the whole human race should rule in harmony with their unity. No one's better, No one lesser that's what we should say.

Our differences should bring us closer to each other, that's what makes us special as a whole human race. Remember our color is not a hindrance to our abilities. Each of us has our own individuality that makes each of us from whichever race we came from beautiful. Each color has it's own significance and beauty. True colors come from within. What matters is the color we have in ourselves not the one we're wearing. 

Let's promote equality and fight against racism. Let's make this world, a world where we can all get our chance.

Let's unite against this "color barrier" and let us embody a world with 

Stop the hate, Start the love.

people that are one.

So the bottomline here is that we should really pulverize this barrier between the two colors. We are all the SAME. we are all humans with the same creator. We are created differently to stand out and to come together. All things are equal when it comes to love, stop the hate before it's too late.

Let's keep in mind that our differences make this world a better place.

showing my Filipino nationalism.

A Filipino can be nationalistic by doing many ways,
I'm still a student who's studying hard for myself for the future. that way i can show my way of being nationalistic.
Whenever i visit my province during vacations i always buy pasalubongs and other delicacies that can be only found there or is known at that particular place here in the Philippines. I always buy souvenirs from places we went to especially provinces and other historical places and tourist spots here and i also take photos as a remembrance from majestic places that I've been to. In that way I am supporting our country's tourism.
As what i learned from school, i keep my trashes and avoid being neglectful in my ways so that i won't contribute in littering and polluting the promised land or should i say "lupang hinirang" as respect and love for my country. Like i said..R E S P E C T & L O V E, i can show these things in simple and practical ways. I stand straight while singing the national anthem as a sign of loyalty and respect to our symbolic flag. And also by raising my hand properly while reciting out "panatang makabayan". The panatang makabayan says that we should be loving or country sincerely. It says a Filipino's promise to our land. What the panatang makabayan says is what I strive to do as a student, as a person, as a Filipino. I still have the hope that Philippines CAN keep pace with other country and that the true sense of being pinoy can be restored longer. I do these things wholeheartedly cause i adore the Philippines and I'm proud of being a Filipino.
